10K Clinic - Hill Practice

Today we did hill practice, 3 times up and down a 800 m hill. Hard on the calves and knees but each time was actually easier than the one before. It was a good workout. The pace was slower because we walked part way back down the hill to recover and also walked about 1km at the start of the clinic.

Before that was the 1.5km walk from the bus stop to the Running Room clinic.

Nothing else going on with me. I'm on my second round of antibiotics for this ^&^%^ ear infection and am stressing about not having a job in three weeks. I have a 5K event this weekend that I am not 100% invested in.

How's your week going?

  2. I find going up easier (apart from lungs exploding) than coming down which really does kill the knees.

  8. Is it just me...or do you find the intense desire to kick the hill in the face when you're going up it?

Tell me that it's not just a "me thing."

Great work! Kick that hill in the face! Haha!
